During the months of November and December, the Community Clinic needs your financial support. Since 2003, the Clinic has provided FREE medical care for the low-income, working, and uninsured Bedford County Adults. Our Clinic is open 30 hours per month and our nurse practitioners receive $50 per hour to provide quality medical services. Our three providers live in Pulaski, Columbia, and Manchester, Tennessee. Their medical service is very important to our Clinic. We need your financial support to keep the Clinic open for our patients. Below is a list of important facts about our Clinic:
• 2017-2018 financial budget--$66,388.00
• Safety Net funds from State of Tennessee—approximately $30,000 ($25 per patient)
• 2016-2017 patient encounters—1,257
• 1st Quarter 2017 patient encounters—253
• Bedford County Government donates rent and utilities
• Shelbyville City Government donates $6,000 annually ($500 monthly)
• United Way donates $2,430.80 annually ($607.70 quarterly)
• Patient donations average approximately $250.00 per month
• FREE Mammogram and Pap Smear Exams four times per year
• FREE Diabetic Education Clinics—monthly
• $10 laboratory and $25 x-ray fees provided by Tennova Health Care—Shelbyville
• FREE electronic medical records software provided by AthenaHealth
• FREE over-the-counter products provided by DirectRelief
• Non-profit clinic with 501©3 IRS Status
